Job Descriptions :

  • Take leadership around the taxation activities of the Group by managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Group’s tax department.
  • Review the tax calculation and tax reporting of transactions.
  • Manage monthly tax reports for the Group on timely basis.
  • Initiate and develop comprehensive tax planning while ensuring compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor legislative changes in tax laws that may impact the Group's tax positions, including tax accounting implications.
  • Provide internal tax advisory and support to internal stakeholders on various matters such as new products launching, M&A, new business line on a promptly basis.
  • Have prior experiences dealing with specific tax issues.
  • Able to represent the company in liaising with tax authorities with maturity and attending to tax issues raised by the tax authorities.
  • Handle other ad-hoc tax related tasks.

Job Requirements :

  • Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation.
  • At least 8 years of working experience in similar senior tax role in any leading corporation in Indonesia.
  • Prior work experiences in reputable tax consulting firm as Tax Consultant (in Senior or Manager position) would be advantageous and preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of prevailing Indonesia and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Hold Brevet A & B.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and Indonesian GAAP would be advantageous and preferred.
  • Able to create comprehensive tax reports for the Board/senior management.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
  • Have extensive experience in dealing with tax authorities and regulators on tax audits (field and desk audit).
  • Is agile and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently, proactive, and have a strong analytical thinking.
  • Strong ownership and able to provide various tax support to different stakeholders.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and coordination skills with stakeholders.
