Job Description:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies and campaigns to expand company awareness
  • Leading media outreach initiatives, inclusive of pitching, handling inbound media queries, and managing relationships between the company and stakeholders
  • Develop content, storylines, and written materials and messages such as press releases, media advisories, pitches, presentations, etc according to the companies' marketing strategies and the PR plan
  • Promote the company and its businesses through media briefings, conferences, interviews, articles, messaging toolkits, and advocacy communications in a strong and well-planned manner
  • Plan and manage the speaking engagement calendar, including seeking and vetting opportunities for the Alami Group executive team and facilitating the corresponding activities for each engagement
  • Work together with the Brand Lead in Crisis Response, to manage crisis response initiatives, develop response strategy, and execute accordingly, as well as maintain all crisis communications plans and protocols
  • Maintain positive relations with stakeholders, media, key opinion leaders, and the public
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance PR analytics tools, and reporting process methods
  • Analyse and redefinition of media database
  • Actively monitor news and trends within industry and category

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of work experience in Public Relations and possess expertise in strategic communications, campaign, or public affairs, whether at in-house or agency
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal) in Bahasa Indonesia and English language, with a keen understanding of press relations and how to balance messaging and company priorities as a spokesperson
  • Experience preferred in multiple communications realms, including but not limited to banking, finance, leading startups, corporate social responsibility, and technology. Having exposure to campaigns and brand handling on a global level is a plus
  • Have an excellent relationship with media, preferably within the finance and banking industry
  • Experience in crisis management is required, inclusive but not limited to corporate crises, social media issues, product recalls, labor issues, customer service issues, management changes, litigation, and other special situations
  • Experience in all media platforms, including new media including but not limited to managing and monitoring social media conversations, influencer strategies, and relationships
  • Independent thinker, values the capabilities and work quality of a team, has a strong understanding of internal and external clients and needs/priorities
  • Thrives in an environment with a large amount of public exposure and a diverse range of personalities and opinions
  • High passion for developing and executing impactful campaigns to drive a successful engagement
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and PR skills, with deep knowledge of PR analytics tools
  • Have good organization skills
